Purchase and installation of additional playground equipment.

To provide funding of £750 for the above project.

Reason for decision:

Concerns were voiced by parents about the lack of “anywhere decent for the kids to play”. The IAA inspected the play area and agreed that it was unattractive and does not provide a very stimulating environment. At Ivychruch Amentiy Association and Ivychurch Parish Council meetings and other events such as the annual Ivychurch Children’s Christmas Party various Play Equipment Brochures were viewed and opinions sought from parents and children. The final choices were a result of this research. It will regenerate this prime site in the heart of the village opposite the church and the pub. An attractive, exciting village green can become a focal point for everyone to use and be proud of.
