Decision details

Replacement Chairs – for use in the school room community area adjacent to Dymchurch Methodist Church. The existing chairs are very old and no longer fit for purpose and are unsuitable for the needs of older people.

DECISION:

To provide funding of £883.80 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The Chairs will be used by a number of organisations including: knitter and Stitchers group, which meets regularly making blankets and other knitted garments for Operation Sunshine – a local Folkestone based charity which regularly sends products to Africa. Meeting point – part of the CALM group offering support and friendship to local people in the area. Dymchurch Heritage Group – uses the premises on a regular basis for talks and lectures on the history of Dymchurch.
