Hall hire at Hawkinge Community Centre (Monday evenings, 5-7pm) –

The Bank Youth Club has been running 10-16 year olds to have a safe environment to socialise, help with their mental health, to join in with sports activities they don’t always do, workshops and fun events to help young people understand their strengths and build resilience, we work with a growing number of vulnerable young people with additional needs and in foster care, integrating them into an all access youth club.

DECISION:

To provide funding of £800.00 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

Originally set up in response to calls from the Police, CSU, Hawkinge town Council, the club is very well thought of and supported by the local community, we have successfully connected with the community over the past three years, and the young people.
