To purchase a movable projector and screen.

To provide funding of £225 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The Romney Marsh is home to 10,510 people over the age of 55 and as they age due to the geography of the Marsh, they can become isolated and vulnerable. By offering the chance for them to attend the Day Centre or receive community meals reduces the feeling of isolation. We also like to offer them the chance to take part in various activities together, some of which can be done with a screen and projector. We also like to offer talks and presentations on all sorts of topics that they enjoy. We also have several other groups who use the centre and require the use of a projector and screen. We would also take the items to give presentations around the Marsh to interested Parties.
