However, they had objected to the previous application and it was likely, therefore, that they would object to this one also. It was requested that should Members resolve to grant planning permission, delegated authority be given to the Chief Planning Officer to grant planning permission following notification to Sport England of the Committee resolution and subsequent referral to the Secretary of State if required.
