Terms of Reference

·               To contribute to and review the development of the council’s corporate policies including policies contained in the policy framework, risk management and corporate governance policies and strategies, and to review the performance against targets and review the effectiveness of the policies and strategies over time

·               To contribute to and review the council’s performance plan and performance management system

·               To contribute to the annual scrutiny programme

Composition

Must be politically balanced. No member of the executive may be a member of the overview and scrutiny committee or sub-committee.
