OPENING OF BOUVERIE PLACE TOILETS

08/07/2019 - OPENING OF BOUVERIE PLACE TOILETS

DECISION:

1)             Approve the decision for the Council to take on a lease to operate a public convenience facility at Bouverie Place toilets.

2)             Agree the revenue (£12000) and capital (£8000) funding to allow the conveniences to operate in line with other FDC facilities.

Reasons for decision:

Folkestone town centre currently lacks centralised public conveniences. Leasing and operating this facility will provide an important amenity within the central high street area.
