Volunteers have been giving thousands of hours to their local communities across the Folkestone and Hythe district. They have been helping with shopping, delivering meals, picking up prescriptions and dog walking during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the community hubs they have also been making thousands of welfare calls to check on those who have been isolating. Their generosity of time and good will seems to know no bounds.
To highlight how the volunteers have been helping their communities, here is a little glimpse into how just four of them have been supporting residents.
