Parish Hall – Building a Stronger Community in Central Folkestone.  The overall aim is to develop the two adjoining church halls into an attractive, functional, affordable usable space for community and church use.  This application is for funding to replace old, rusting and chipped coffee hall tables.  This will make the hall more attractive to encourage more sections of the community to use it more often. 

DECISION:

To provide funding of £564 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

There is clear evidence of a need for accessible, affordable, central facility to serve local people and organisations serving the community for people to meet, to do activities and learn, for job preparation, emotional and physical well-being, promote financial wellbeing, for shelter, for advice and guidance from professionals in an informal environment.
