This report outlines the findings of a recent parking review carried out in roads close to Princes Parade, Hythe, following the introduction of the ‘pay & display’ scheme.

a)        To receive and note Report C/18/39.

b)       That a further review be carried out during the summer of 2019, and that officers report the findings in the early autumn of 2019.

Reasons for decision:

The Cabinet Member for Transport and Commercialis asked to agree the recommendations set out below because:

a)    There isn’t sufficient evidence that the parking controls introduced in Princes Parade in April this year have substantially displaced parking into the roads shown in appendix 1.
