Decision details

Cheriton Christmas Pantomime - Cheriton Christmas Light Switch on has become a highly anticipated annual event.  The people of Cheriton are proud of the Christmas lights and would like help with adaptations to the lights and increasing the amount of decorations on show. 

To provide funding of £1000 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The event is open to the whole community and is free.  Each year more local people are becoming involved.  This year the local shop owners have become more involved.  The lights have given people the feeling that they are valid and important.  The amount of people who attend the switch on shows how important it is to continue.
