Purpose:

Dick Whittington and His Cat Pantomime - Sound equipment (we currently have to pay £60 to hire each microphone for a week, this production requires 12 mics).

 

We are producing a community pantomime by adults and youth. This is our second pantomime and 4th production and require microphones to be used for this and future projects by both NRAD and NRAD Youth.

 

Decision:

To provide funding of £500 to the above project.

 

 

Reason for decision:

 

There is no other amateur dramatic group in the New Romney area for adults and as a result of the success of this group we have formed our Youth group which currently has 26 members. This group encourages confidence in all who take part and allows members the chance to perform in and around the area not only as part of a show but to local charity and community groups.
