Tool Box Talk Outreach Pilot – contribution to a pilot counselling services package specifically targeted at young people to be delivered in an outreach programme in local schools.

To provide funding of £500 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

Waiting lists to access NHS mental health services are approximately four months. There has been a marked increase in mental health issues among young people, which is exacerbated by delays in accessing mental health services.

By offering an outreach programme we will remove the barrier of accessibility, which is an additional issue for many Marsh children in accessing mental health services.
