To provide funding of £1000 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The park has continued to attract families from across the area and has been positively received by the community.  The freshly refurbished park keepers’ lodge serves the park with its tea rooms and seating area around the restored Victorian drinking fountain.

The park has fantastic provision of play for infants as well as 10+ with the space net and aerial runway. It is these elements that led to Folkestone & Hythe being awarded its third Green Flag award winning Park in 2018.

The Folkestone & Hythe play area strategy has identified Radnor Park as both strategically important and a priority play area with the potential to become one of the destination play area.
