North Aisle Renovations – The building will be purchased by the Church.  It has suffered years of neglect and needs renovation.  The immediate need is to re-felt the North Aisle roof and renovate and redecorate the North Aisle ceiling and walls where water has been penetrating for years.  The works are necessary to provide a safe and dry building for our own and community use. 

To provide funding of £1000 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The St Saviours building has been at the heart of the local community in the past, for example, the Rainbow Centre began life here.  Harbour Church runs a kids club, toddler group, youth group, crochet group, coffee mornings and can dispense vouchers for the Folkestone foodbank.  In addition, we are a venue for a detached youth club called ‘The Loft’ run by ‘For Young People’, a local youth charity.  Also, a breastfeeding support group led by a local breastfeeding counsellor.
