Purpose:

Upper Radnor Park Fitness and Inclusivity – The new Radnor Park Play Area was opened in June 2017.  The provision of accessible and inclusive equipment at the park will mean that it can be enjoyed by all.  In unison with this is an opportunity to introduce an element of fitness, health and wellbeing to the park with open air exercise equipment.

Decision:

To provide funding of £1650 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The park has continued to attract families from across the area and has been positively received by the community.  The park has fantastic provision of play for infants as well as 10 plus with the space net and aerial runway.  The Folkestone & Hythe Play Area Strategy has identified Radnor Park as both strategically important and a priority play area with the potential to become one of the destination play areas.
