Decision details

Stroke Education – Providing stroke education and prevention sessions in the community for stroke survivors and carers.  The fund would pay for transport and  room hire to enable these sessions to happen.

To provide funding of £1000 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

Much needed sessions for those who have had a stroke.  The sessions will help stroke survivors remain healthier and fitter, with less chance of having subsequent strokes.  The transport will mean those that may not have been able to benefit, can gain access to this support.
