This report outlines the findings of a second parking review carried out in August and September 2019 in roads close to Princes Parade, Hythe, following the introduction of the ‘pay & display’ scheme in May 2018.

1.        To receive and note Report C/19/46.

2.        That officers continue to monitor parking between April and June 2020 in selected roads where occupancy levels are high

3.        That officers make further recommendations to the Cabinet Member for Transport following the monitoring exercise.

The results of the surveys indicate there is increased occupancy in some roads. Further monitoring will help establish if parking controls are necessary.
