Creativity In the Community - Art and Creative Workshops to Community & Groups.

To provide funding of £1000 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

There are no creative facilities or adult education resources in New Romney. There are no facilities for many of the target groups of the project (especially

physical and mental illness).

It is widely recognised that creative pursuits improve well, being and mental health. They also help nurture the development of children and young people and

improve the lives of the elderly.

Teach Me have provide a much needed resource to combat mental illness, loneliness and other much needed therapy that is expressed through weekly courses, particularly when there are times of stress both physically and mentally to enable people to regain confidence and life balance through creativity.
