Wheelchair accessible toilet - Converting toilet into a wheelchair accessible facility.

To provide funding of £500 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

The Chichester Hall is a community facility whose importance has been recognised in the VillageÕs Parish Plan and its Village Design Statement both of which have been adopted by the District Council. Currently undergoing refurbishment, the last area to be addressed is the Þrst ßoor toilet and it is intended that, by sacriÞcing part of the CaretakerÕs storeroom, space can be created to allow access by wheelchair users. The Hall is used by various groups all of whom have said that

wheelchair access would be welcomed and this is an opportunity to ensure that local wheelchair users are not excluded and, therefore, disadvantaged.
