The Lift Café - We are opening a cafe in the lower station. There are cost involved, including: supplying electricity, water and other services to the needed areas. Repairs to windows and flooring.

To provide funding of £500 to the above project.

Reason for decision:

There is clear evidence of support across various Facebook pages, the local Press and other community groups. We recently sent out an initial survey/consultation where it was expected and hope for 250 responses. We had over 2,500 responses which is unprecedented in this way.
