Classification of three films

Folkestone & Hythe District Council has been asked to classify three films so that they can be shown at the Silver Screen Cinema in Folkestone. The Licensing Sub-Committee is therefore asked to approve the recommendations and classify the films.

Film 1: Fake News Fairytale

 

The members, having watched the film in its entirety, and reading the BBFC classification guidance.

 

Proposed by Councillor Nicola Keen

Seconded by Councillor Philip Martin and

 

Resolved:

1.         To receive and note Report DCL/21/09.

2.         To set the classification for this film as a fifteen.  This was made with the BBFC guidelines of “protecting children and vulnerable adults from harmful or unsuitable media” and “to empower consumers to make informed decisions”.

Film 2: Personal Truth

 

The members, having watched the film in its entirety, and reading the BBFC classification guidance.
