Accessible entrance to Unit – installing a ramp to provide access to our offices as part of a longer-term objective of improving accessibility. At present, no safe access is possible for those with mobility challenges to access the admin office, meeting room and commanding officer’s office thus inhibiting the chances of children and young people to participate in activities. We intend to design, build and install a ramp to replace the external stairs (3 steps) to the office/admin section of the unit as the first stage of efforts to improve accessibility.
