COVID-19 Response to Date and Recovery Plan Framework

This report provides an overview of the Councils response to date in relation to COVID-19 and seeks approval of a framework which will guide the development and delivery of the Council’s COVID-19 Recovery Plan.

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
This decision is urgent as it is required in order to set a framework for the Council’s Recovery Plan as part of the overall response to COVID-19. In view of the council wanting to make swift progress, and as the strategic county-wide (KRF) approach to recovery has been considered by Kent Leaders (2nd June), it is appropriate that the matter comes before cabinet for consideration asap as an approach and the framework to allow for the more detailed work to progress.
