Telecare equipment in council independent living and age designated properties - this item will no longer be considered by Cabinet

In response to all analogue telephone systems being switched off by 2025, the council’s housing service has undertaken a procurement exercise to decommission the current hardwired telecare (Lifeline) equipment in its independent living and age designated housing properties, and to procure a replacement hybrid digital IP telecare solution for the independent living properties.

This procurement was undertaken via a mini-competition through Consortium Procurement’s Technology Enabled Lives framework. Cabinet is asked to approve the award of the contract to the highest scoring bidder as outlined in the report.
