Folkestone & Hythe District Council (F&HDC) is set to agree how much it spends to provide services in 2020/21.
Before then residents have the opportunity to have their say on the council's draft budget with all comments to be received by 5pm on Friday 31 January 2020.
The council is proposing to spend £17million in 2020/21 on services including providing leisure facilities, maintaining parks and gardens, keeping streets clean, emptying bins and dealing with planning applications.
The budget has been worked out on a proposed 2% increase in F&HDC's share of the council tax (this would add 10p a week for a Band D property).
The budget, supporting documents and a questionnaire can be found here folkestone-hythe.gov.uk/consultations
Paper copies of the form can be requested from the Civic Centre, Folkestone.
Comments received will be reported to councillors prior to a Full Council meeting in February 2020.
