Following in the footsteps of the successful beach hut development in Folkestone, this council project at Coast Drive, Greatstone, brings a new coastal centre to Romney Marsh. This includes 93 beach huts, a café/concession with training room, water sports and changing facilities, together with changing places and public toilets.
The brand-new wooden huts are approximately 1.8 x 1.8m with felt pitched roofs, a veranda and painted finish.

Can I lease a hut?
The huts will be available to rent upon completion of the project, which should be early 2026.
The online waiting list form is now open for you to register your details to rent a hut. Please ensure your details are correct, especially your email address.
Up to four people may be named on one beach hut lease. However, please do not include multiple applications for one hut.
We will process the waiting list and start to offer the huts, via email, on a first come first served basis, front row to back row. Duplicate applications will be removed from the list.
The waiting list will be capped and then closed as soon as sufficient interest is received. Processing the list may take some time and we would be grateful for your patience whilst this process is undertaken. We will contact you as soon as we can if your application has been successful.
