Core Strategy Review 2019

Core Strategy review

We have recently consulted on the Submission Draft Core Strategy Review. This will set out how the development needs of the district will be met up to 2037. The consultation closed on 11 March 2019 and we are now assessing the comments we received.

Consultation on Submission Draft (Regulation 19) Core Strategy Review

We are reviewing our Core Strategy to plan for development across the district until 2037.  The first draft of the plan was consulted on between March and May 2018.

Having made amendments to the plan, we have recently consulted on the next version (known as the Submission Draft or Regulation 19 plan). The consultation ran from 25 January to 11 March 2019.

Comments made during the recent consultation will be passed to an independent planning Inspector; the Inspector will then hold a public examination into the plan.

The Core Strategy Review and supporting documents are set out by theme in the sections below.
