Armed Forces Covenant

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or served in the Armed Forces and their families, are treated fairly and not disadvantaged in their daily lives.

The logo for the 'Armed Forces Covenant'.On 2 December 2011 civic and community leaders pledged their support for the Armed Forces at the signing of the Armed Forces Covenant.

Folkestone & Hythe District Council refreshed its Armed Forces Covenant pledges on 3 December 2021 to mark the 10-year anniversary of its original signing. 

The district has a long tradition of cooperation between its civilian community and local armed forces.

All the district's town councils and a number of parish councils have also signed the Armed Forces Covenant.
