Busking and street entertainment in the district

To help foster music throughout the district we're going to be developing a busker's code of practice.

This type of code of practice - used by many London boroughs - is applicable to both buskers and street entertainers.

A code for the Folkestone & Hythe district is currently in development and will outline what's acceptable and what's not for both the performer and the audience member.

This new code will complement the existing PSPO measure around noise abatement brought in earlier in the year.

It is planned that the code will be unveiled by the end of November. Once approved it will be available to view on this page.

We'll announce this on our social media so be sure to follow us if you want to get notified once it's out.
