Please note that coffins more than 18 inches high only allow for a maximum amount of two burials in any new grave. Any coffins more than 18 inches high will require the double digging fee to be paid if there is to be only one burial or the triple digging fee if you wish to allow room for a second burial in the grave.
To arrange a full burial at Hawkinge Cemetery you will need to complete the notice of interment for burials form and return it to Hawkinge Crematorium with the Certificate for Burial or the Coroners Order for Burial, at least three working days prior to the interment date. It is recommended that you check availability prior to returning the form.
