Migrant Help is a key contact for independent advice and guidance. They are notified of those who arrive and conduct an induction briefing. Migrant Help provide an overview of what support services are available and how to access local healthcare etc. An advice Line is available 24/7 for issues such as complaints, safeguarding etc as well as referring to social services. The voluntary and other sectors are engaged with to support with activities and donations of clothing. There have been litter picks and other volunteering that has taken place. English classes are provided at all key sites. Dispersal to alternative accommodation is also addressed by relevant agencies on an ongoing basis. There is a regular NGO forum that meets and this group also addresses support needed at various sites. There were questions around other support, street maps and local information, this type of support is available at each site. Conditions at the sites are good and residents are warm and have access to food and activities.
