Licensing forum

We have established a Licensing Forum which allows for a platform of communication between key stakeholders, providing a structured environment for collaborative working, best practice and shares community challenges between business, residents, police, and the local authority.

The last meeting was held on 25 September 2025 at Dymchurch Village Hall. It was attended by:

  • Folkestone & Hythe District Council - Licensing & Environmental Protection
  • Folkestone & Hythe District Council - Community Safety Unit
  • Representatives from the Alliance of Folkestone Residents' Association and Leas Residents' Association
  • Representatives from local businesses
  • The Chair of the Folkestone Community Forum
  • Representatives from New Romney Town Council
