Licensing forum

We have established a Licensing Forum which allows for a platform of communication between key stakeholders, allowing for a structured environment for collaborative working, best practice and shares community challenges between business, residents, police, and the local authority.

The first meeting was held on June 16th at the Civic Centre. It was attended by:

  • Kent Police
  • Folkestone & Hythe District Council - Licensing & Environmental Health
  • Representative from Alliance of Folkestone Residents' Association and Leas Residents' Association
  • Representative from Folkestone Town Council
  • Representative from New Romney Town Council
  • Representative from Newchurch Parish Council
  • Representative from local businesses
