What could be better than having sporting fun surrounded by amazing views of the coast and cliffs?
East Cliff Sports in Folkestone – home to eight lawn tennis courts, an 18-hole pitch and putt course and a six-lane bowling green – has reopened for the season.
The outdoors sports facility is perfect for families who just want to have a bit of fun, as well as those looking for something slightly more competitive.
Open between 9.30am and 7pm each day, clubs, balls and rackets can be rented from a member of the friendly team. Prices are unchanged and remain the same as last year.
A Folkestone & Hythe District Council spokesperson said: “It promises to be quite the summer of sport this year with the Olympics and Euro 2024 on top of all the usual events.
“We hope the bumper calendar will encourage more people to take up active hobbies – and with the stunning views over the town and across to France, there is no better place to develop your skills.”
