Hythe Pool will be closed for two days next week to allow essential maintenance works to be carried out.
A replacement pump is to be installed, meaning the South Road facility will be shut on both Wednesday 21 October and Thursday 22 October.
Affected clubs and schools have already been advised of the closure.
Folkestone & Hythe District Council’s contractors will also utilise this time to carry out building surveys.
These form part of the preliminary work needed to explore future pool refurbishment options and have been organised during this essential maintenance closure to minimise disruption to the public.
Maintaining swimming provision in the town remains a priority for the council.
