This consultation has now closed.
We gathered people’s views on the key issues facing the district through the local plan Scoping Consultation, which ran from 7 September to 16 October 2026. During this consultation, we also asked for views on:
- What the local plan should contain.
- How we should engage with residents, communities, businesses and organisations throughout the plan-making process.
We are currently assessing the comments we received during the Scoping Consultation. When this is complete, we will publish our responses and we will outline how the comments will be used to guide the next stages of the process.
