Don't be rubbish - find a bin or take it home
With over 26 miles of coastline and creative charm in spades it's no wonder that so many people come to enjoy our district.
Sadly with an increase in people there seems to always be an increase in littering too - that's why this summer we're telling people to use a bin or #TakeItHome
Litter spoils our environment for everyone. If you're littering you must be too selfish to care about others or the planet - there really is no excuse.
We've installed more bins than ever across the district to meet extra demand. If a bin is full please find the next one or take your rubbish home.
Leader of Folkestone & Hythe District Council, Cllr David Monk said, "It costs all of us when people litter - not only as an eyesore or for health reasons but also literally costing taxpayers money. We know the majority of people don't litter and we want to thank those responsible people who have pride in where they live and want to keep it clean."
