Parking information for motorcyclists
Parking for motorbikes (motorcycles) is free, and there are no time limits in any:
- On-street designated motorcycle bay
- Permit holder only bay
- Permit holder with Pay and Display bays
When parking in Council Car Parks or on-street limited waiting spaces, you will need to observe the maximum parking time allowed. This can be found on the tariff boards within the Car Park or on-street signs adjacent to the parking bays.

There are designated motorcycle parking bays with security rails in:
- Shellons Street Car Park in Folkestone
- The Paddocks and Mount Street Car Park in Hythe
- Dymchurch Central Car Park
