On street parking permission for businesses
This permit is for window cleaners or carers who visit clients within controlled parking zones and need to park. They are not for parking at a place of work. Only window cleaners are allowed to park on yellow lines.
How it works
The permit holder is allowed to park their vehicle (car, invalid carriage, goods vehicle) in permit holder and shared use bays in the permit zone during operational hours.
Window Cleaners
Parking is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes in permit bays, yellow lines, limited waiting, and shared use bays. Parking longer than the maximum time of 30 minutes may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being served.
This permit is not valid where there is a loading/unloading restriction, in pay and display bays, parking places reserved for specific users such as taxi ranks, bus stops, loading bays, school keep clear markings, off street car parks or in Radnor Park Avenue, Radnor Park West, West Cliff Gardens or Pound Way.
Carers
Parking is limited to a maximum of 2 hours in permit bays, limited waiting, and shared use bays. Parking longer than the maximum time of 2 hours may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being served.
This permit is not valid where there is a loading/unloading restriction, on yellow lines, in pay and display bays, parking places reserved for specific users such as taxi ranks, bus stops, loading bays, school keep clear markings, off street car parks or in Radnor Park Avenue, Radnor Park West, West Cliff Gardens or Pound Way.
Blue Badge holders; do not require a permit to park in permit holder or shared use bays.
What do I need to provide with my application?
You must provide a valid email address and submit proof of your business eg
- business card
- compliments slip
- headed paper
- copy of tax return

Apply for On Street Parking Permissions
A paper parking permit will be sent to you to display in your vehicle when parking across the district.
